Jobelsa Group is a company initially specialized in design and manufacturing of upholstery and car interiors. Recently Jobelsa has added other activities such as covering of interiors, especially door panels and instrument panels.
In 2008, the company extended its strategy with the aim to convert in a global supplier for its clients, so it started its activities in deliveries JIT that consist in supply directly to OEM in sequence.
Our tasks also include development and design in order to reach the level of our serial products. To achieve this, we have a high-qualified team dedicated to materialize our clients ideas.We are committed to offer products and services meeting the highest levels of requirements and quality, so we are client-oriented. Jobelsa group disposes of purely productive facilities (Benicasim, Spain and Košice, Slovakia) as well as highly specialized plants such as the J.I.T. plant in Barcelona, Spain.
Year 1.962 - Establishment of the company. Production of walking shoes.
Year 1.965 - Beginning of upholstery activity for automotive industry.
Year 1.984 - Building up of the position in the production of covers and upholstery for automobiles. The company focuses on taking on after – market trough partners and specialized shops in the whole territory of Spain. Removing to new building, in total area: 2.500m2.
Year 1.992 - Beginning of serial production of covers for Tier and OEMs.
Year 1.996 - Moving to new hall in Benicasim, where new headquarters and a hall are established.
Year 2.004 - Construction of plant in Slovakia and beginning of production with high technology.
Year 2008 - The position of the company consolidated in the countries denominated Low Cost. Completion of the contruction of production hall II in Slovakia and start of production. Total area: 14.000 m2.
Acquisition of J.I.T. company that will be incorporated into the Group denominated Jobelsa Interiores, S.L.
Year 2.009 - Change of corporate image. Construction of new hall in Barcelona to perform activities J.I.T for the SEAT client. Total area: 10.000 m2.
